IvyCamp has created an innovative accelerator model to help entrepreneurs build and scale an outstanding cyber security company. During the 3 month mentor and corporate-driven program, IvyCamp will work on everything from refining the idea to finding product-market fit, honing on a target market, to engaging with customers. IvyCamp will help companies prepare for fundraising and connect them with corporate partners and investors during the course of the program. The program will be based in Bangalore, India.

The most distinctive feature of the program lies in the nature of the program curriculum itself. The curriculum is tailored to suit the specific requirements of the startups. Some startups may need help with concept refinement, some need resources for product development and validation while others need assistance with their pitch. The program curriculum meets all these needs whilst connecting startups with experts and corporates in the cyber security space who can provide specific guidance to program participants.
While our program is best suited for companies who have at least a prototype or product ready with some traction. We welcome applications from both early stage and later stage startups who feel the Program may benefit them.
We will be selecting upto 5 companies for the first cohort.
We focus on accelerating each part of your business through a structured 3 month program. Startups gain immense amount of condensed experience through hands-on mentoring, connections to extremely targeted industry insiders, and exposure to investors. Program concludes with a Demo Day.

The application process begins online, with an application form where you can tell us about your team, product and market opportunity. Applications will be shortlisted by a panel of experienced mentors and investors. Shortlisted startups qualify for the interview round based on which selected startups will be invited to attend the program in Bangalore.
IvyCamp will take up to 5% equity stake in the common stock of each selected company. We think that the learning, networking, and mentoring provided by the program is of tremendous value. With IvyCamp CyberStart, you continue to reap the benefits of the program long after the program has concluded and synergies created through an equity stake ensure a win-win situation for all involved.
IvyCamp treats all application data as confidential information. We maintain the utmost level of confidentiality, ethics and professionalism in all our dealings.
No. We do not claim any portion of the startup’s Intellectual property, patents etc. We also have a legal team on board to help startups with their queries in this regard.

Q. What are the Terms & Conditions for participating in the IvyCamp CyberStart 2018?
A. Terms & Conditions pertaining to the IvyCamp CyberStart Program have been outlined below.
The Founder and the Founder’s Company hereby agree as follows:
1: During the time in which Founder is enrolled in the IvyCamp accelerator program (“CyberStart”), Founder will be eligible to receive:
(a) Participation in a structured 3 months program with other startups;
(b) Mentorship by mentors and experts on business issues;
(c) Opportunities to meet targeted industry experts, investors and investor groups;
(d) Discounted services by third party providers;
(e) Certification as IvyCamp graduate;
(f) IvyCamp does not claim any portion of the Founder Company’s intellectual property.
2: The Founder hereby agrees to:
(a) Attend every session during the program in person;
(b) Complete all weekly session projects and assignments on time;
(c) Participate in weekly peer working group meetings and assignments;
(d) Provide feedback on the sessions;
(e) Form one (1) company during the program that uses the corporate form and basic corporate documents approved by IvyCamp;
(f) Notify IvyCamp of Founder’s intent to leave the CyberStart program by no later than 2 weeks in advance;
(g) Fulfill its obligations under these Terms, including the obligation to grant to IvyCamp up to 5% equity stake in the common stock of the Founder’s company
(h) The Founder further agrees that Ivy Camp shall not be responsible and/or held liable for any act or omission on part of the applicant/ Founder. The Founder further acknowledges and is aware that Ivy Camp has not conducted any independent diligence in respect of the information provided by the Founder and Ivy Camp expressly disclaims any guarantee or warranty in respect of the same. In the event of any failure to perform, misrepresentation, shortcomings and other issues with regard to the Founder and/or the Founder’s Company, Ivy Camp shall not be responsible or held liable for the same;
(i) Indemnify IvyCamp for (i) any loss or damage suffered by IvyCamp by any act or omission on part of the Founder and or the Founder’s Company, (ii) any and all breaches by the Founder and or the Founder’s Company of its obligations under these Terms; and (iii) costs (including attorneys’ fees and expenses) of any action to enforce the payment of any amounts owed to IvyCamp under these Terms;
(j) Notify IvyCamp at least 15 days prior to the consummation of any financing or liquidity event, change in control in the Founder’s Company, buy out, exit of any founder from the Founder’s company etc., and authorize and direct legal counsel to the Founder’s Company to do the same;
(k) Within one month of the last session of the CyberStart program, launch a commercially viable product to the standard of related or competing offerings of similarly situated companies.
(l) The Founder is aware and agrees that selection of the companies in the Cyberstart program shall be at the sole discretion of Ivy Camp and Ivy Camp’s decision shall be final and binding in this regard;
(m) The Founder is aware that prior to being a part of the Cyberstart program, the Founder shall have to go through a selection process and on successful completion of the selection process, the Founder’s Company may be intimated, at Ivy Camp’s sole discretion, on being accepted into the Cyberstart program. The Founder is further aware that submitting of its business proposal to Ivy Camp does not amount to selection of the Founder’s Company to be part of the Cyberstart program;
(m) The Founder will hold in the strictest confidence, and take all reasonable precautions to prevent any unauthorized use or disclosure of Confidential Information, and Founder will not (i) use the Confidential Information for any purpose whatsoever other than as necessary for Founder’s participation in the CyberStart program, or (ii) disclose the Confidential Information to any third party without the prior written consent of an authorized representative of the Disclosing Party. Founder may disclose Confidential Information to the extent compelled by applicable law; provided however, prior to such disclosure, Founder shall provide prior written notice to such Disclosing Party. Founder agrees that no ownership of Confidential Information is conveyed to Founder by any Disclosing Party. Founder’s obligations under this Term (2) (l) shall continue after the termination of this Agreement.
Explanation: for the purposes of Term (2) (l), “Confidential Information” means any non-public information that relates to the actual or anticipated business and/or products, research or development of IvyCamp, any other participant in the CyberStart program, any company formed by another participant in CyberStart program or any of their respective affiliates (each a “Disclosing Party”), including but not limited to technical data, trade secrets, know-how, research, product plans, or other information regarding a Disclosing Party’s products or services and markets therefor, customer lists and customers, software, developments, inventions, processes, formulas, technology, designs, drawings, engineering, hardware configuration information, marketing, finances, and other business information disclosed by a Disclosing Party, either directly or indirectly, in writing, orally or by drawings or inspection rights granted to Founder. The fact that a person is participating or has participated in the CyberStart program shall be considered Confidential Information hereunder. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Confidential Information shall not include any such information which Founder can establish (i) was publicly known or made generally available prior to the time of disclosure to Founder; (ii) becomes publicly known or made generally available after disclosure to Founder through no wrongful action or inaction of Founder; or (iii) is in the rightful possession of Founder, without confidentiality obligations, at the time of disclosure as shown by Founder’s then-contemporaneous written records.
(o) Ivy Camp shall reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time without any notice to the Founders or users of the website;
(p) Ivy Camp shall have the right to cause any Founder to exit the Cyberstart program at any time during the course of the Cyberstart program without any prior notice to such Founder in the event of any moral turpitude, breach of any of the Terms contained hereinabove, misrepresentation, fraud and/ or any other reason at the sole discretion of Ivy Camp; and
(q) In the event of any dispute in respect of these terms, the Courts in Mumbai shall be deemed to be the courts of competent jurisdiction.
